Robot Network 11

This online training course helps you master the basics of centrally monitoring message, application, resource, and performance statuses that are managed by Robot software running on your IBM i partitions.

Robot Network 11 is a three-part recorded training that you can take at your own pace. Allowing time for breaks and course exercises, the course takes 3.5–4  hours to complete.

Part 1: See a quick overview of the software features, what is installed with the software, and master the GUI Explorer Menu bar options. (1 hour)

Part 2: Master the Status Center and Map Center to centrally monitor. You will learn which types of statuses, performance, and product metrics can be monitored based on the host and node configuration properties. (1.5–2 hours)

Part 3: Learn to use node groups for easy monitoring, Product Masters for easy administration, Performance Center and Product Metrics dashboards and graphs, and Robot Network reports. We finish with great best practices tips. (1 hour)

Prerequisites

  • GUI must be installed on PC.
  • There is no 5250 emulation access.
