Performance Navigator® requires an ODBC connection to connect to your IBM i system, but it does not come with your PC’s operating system or ACS (Access Client Solutions).
An ODBC driver is available from IBM (login required). To get the driver, visit IBM's IBM i Access Client Solutions downloads page and follow these instructions:
- Log in
- Download "ACS Windows App Pkg English (64bit)"
- Extract the contents of the zip file
- Go into the folder "Image64a" and run setup.exe
- Once you have finished installing, restart Performance Navigator and try your connection again
