3 Simple Steps to Activation
IBM i Solution Editions are available when you purchase new IBM Power Systems hardware and any combination of Fortra software. Once you’ve made your purchase decisions, follow these steps to secure your IBM i Solution Edition discount:
- Retain proof of purchase or a copy of the invoice for your Fortra software purchase within 90 days of the hardware purchase, to be provided to IBM on request. This can be 90 days before or after the hardware purchase, but the feature code must be entered at the time of hardware purchase.
- Use the IBM i Solution Edition feature code 4930 for S922 (1-core), 4928 for S914 & S1014 (4-core), and feature code 4927 for S914 (6-core).
- Register your IBM i Solution Edition when you purchase your hardware. Remember, this must happen during the hardware purchase; it cannot be applied retroactively. Typically, the business partner fills out this form for the customer.
