Carlos Nolting

Carlos Nolting is a solutions engineer at Fortra. He started his career as an AS/400 RPG applications programmer for a multinational organization 30 years ago. A few months later, unhappy with the performance of his B50 system, he learned Machine Interface to develop a utility that dynamically changed jobs priority based on CPU usage and memory pool sizes based on page faults per minute. This utility was sold all over the world and is still used in some boxes.

30 years later, Carlos still loves IBM i systems. And, thanks to his technical knowledge about the platform, he can offer Fortra customers and prospects advice on software, services, and setups that will help them achieve a much more secure, automated, efficient, and reliable IT based on IBM i systems.
