From analyzing 30 million URLs daily to mitigating phishing sites within two hours, Fortra Brand Protection defends what matters most for your brand.
We’re recently made updates to Fortra Brand Protection and have enhancements on the roadmap that make the solution even stronger. Check out what’s new and upcoming below.
Fortra Brand Protection Enhancements
Mitigation and disruption
Our mitigation and disruption approach focuses on delivering fast, measurable impact:
- The cyber market continues to shift toward browser-blocking as a primary metric for takedown success. To deliver full transparency and comprehensive risk remediation, Fortra goes a step further by pursuing browser blocking and complete site takedown and reports on both.
- Fortra Brand Protection delivers blocking metrics that capture both the time a request is made and when blocking becomes effective. Our median time to disrupt via browser blocking is approximately one hour.
- Throughout Q2 2026, we’ll release new tracking for Google and Cloudflare blocking, giving you visibility into when most users are effectively blocked from accessing a malicious site, even before it is fully offline. All mitigation reporting will be available in the Brand Protection application within the Fortra platform.
Detection
Significant investments in our detection capabilities improve speed, efficacy, and resilience, strengthening visibility across the expanding threat landscape.
- Our web crawler is now capable of scanning up to 30 million URLs per day, these enhancements help you stay ahead of ever-changing tactics employed by threat actors to evade detection. Improvements include new technology to automatically evade threat-actor countermeasures (including CAPTCHA, device emulation, and geo-specific defenses) and enhanced monitoring to detect site reactivations using those evasion techniques.
- Today, Fortra analyzes over 30 million events from over 300 sources each day, to deliver industry-leading phishing detection. In January, we added the Fortra Threat Brain data feed, providing unique insights drawn from Fortra’s offensive security solutions and internal threat hunting. New DNS pivoting capabilities and additional third-party intelligence feeds were added in February to broaden coverage.
- This May, to review and classify web content at scale, we’re launching Fortra’s classification based on the latest ML/AI technology. This enhancement will improve detection efficacy, speed, and scalability. It’s also adaptable so new models can be plugged in as technology and attack patterns advance.
What’s on the horizon
In June, Fortra is launching Threat Trace, a powerful solution to help organizations understand their threat landscape and monitor known threat actors with enhanced threat visibility, actionable intelligence, and near-real time threat attribution.
