This change represents the latest step in the evolution of Fortra’s data protection family of products. Fortra is a globally recognized brand, protecting the data of over 5.5 million users worldwide. As we look to grow our secure collaboration product into global markets, aligning with Fortra made sense.
We also want to make it clear that our current customers will see no immediate changes in the user interface, branding of product, functionality, or product roadmaps. As the journey to the most comprehensive data protection platform continues, look for updates on exciting enhancements and advanced use cases soon.
Fortra’s data protection customers have seen other convergence in our product line, such as the integration of our Titus data classification product with our secure collaboration tool, enabling automatic encryption of files with certain classification labels.
