Chris Spargen

Chris Spargen heads the Solutions Engineering teams in Fortra’s Secure File Transfer division. As Solutions Engineering Manager, Chris supports complex customer requirements relating to B2B, P2P, and A2A data transfers in and out of the organization. These solutions secure, automate, and format data and support many popular file transfer protocols, powering a number of backbone data processing pipelines and providing extensive auditing for compliance regulations. 

Chris has led customer-facing technical teams for the past decade as a Technical Support Manager at Linoma Software and a Sr. Client Analyst at Finserv. He has worked in all facets of technical support, professional services, and solutions engineering and has been fortunate to experience a multiplicity of customer deployments across most industries during his time in those roles. 

Chris loves seeing customers simplify their business processes by automating and securing their data transfers. He specializes in customer advocacy and architecting multi-layered approaches in order to exceed customer expectations, meet business goals, and foster a strong team environment.
