Kyle Skwirsk

Kyle Skwirsk is a Threat Research Analyst with nearly six years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, specializing in threat intelligence, phishing analysis, and adversary behavior. Having joined Fortra over four years ago, Kyle analyzes emerging threat trends, phishing kits, and threat actors to help organizations better understand and defend against evolving cyber risks.

Prior to Fortra, Kyle gained a strong foundation in phishing mitigation by helping shut down malicious links and infrastructure. His specialist skill set includes OSINT research, regular expressions, and detailed phish kit analysis.

Passionate about education and prevention, Kyle advocates for making cybersecurity knowledge more accessible to the general public. He actively engages in conversations aimed at helping people recognize common signs of scams and social engineering, believing awareness is a critical first line of defense.

Kyle was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society while studying at ECPI and is currently working toward industry certifications to further expand his technical expertise.
