Tyler Reguly, Associate Director, Security R&D at Fortra, is cited in Gizmodo’s coverage of the dismissal of proposed Browsergate class action lawsuits against LinkedIn. Earlier this year, Reguly examined the Browsergate claims in a Fortra blog and later discussed his findings with SecurityWeek, concluding that LinkedIn’s browser extension scanning appeared limited to identifying whether extensions were installed rather than collecting additional user data.
