MINNEAPOLIS May 21, 2019 – Fortra has enhanced its GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) solution with new PeSIT support for secure file transfers. As the software and services provider with the fastest-growing MFT solution in the world, Fortra recognized a growing need for PeSIT support from many European customers. Now in version 6.1, GoAnywhere gives leading organizations confidence to transfer files securely using the PeSIT protocol.
“Many organizations, particularly banks, need to use PeSIT for their file transfers,” said Bob Luebbe, GoAnywhere General Manager at Fortra. “Now whether trading partners require SFTP, AS2, PeSIT, or other protocols, GoAnywhere can help them securely move those files.”
As a leader in the file transfer sector, Fortra is dedicated to meeting the needs of its European customers, having seen explosive growth in France and the surrounding region. Starting with PeSIT, Fortra is also looking to support the popular Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard (EBICS) in the future.
GoAnywhere customers are also very excited about another major feature in the 6.1 release: simplified data mapping. Traditional MFT tools don’t offer encryption and EDI in the same tool, frustrating many organizations who wish to centralize these tasks. GoAnywhere offers both in the same platform, expanding the software’s existing EDI capabilities. Version 6.1 offers X12 and XML data translation for reading, writing, and mapping X12 and XML files between databases for everything from shipping orders to purchase orders.
GoAnywhere version 6.1 is now available to the public. Learn more at www.goanywhere.com.
