MINNEAPOLIS — July 27, 2026 — Fortra, a global cybersecurity software and services provider, today announced the appointment of Shawn Abbas as Chief Financial Officer. Abbas joins Fortra with more than 20 years of financial leadership experience helping high-growth technology organizations scale.

Abbas’s experience building financial frameworks for rapidly growing software businesses will help support the company’s continued expansion and commitment to customer success.

Most recently, Abbas served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Jamf, where he spent eight years supporting the company through periods of significant growth, international expansion, and corporate integration initiatives. Throughout his career, he has led financial organizations in both public company and private equity-backed environments, helping businesses build scalable operations while maintaining strong financial discipline.
