Lynn Penick

Lynn is a Senior Security Analyst on the Enterprise Security Expert (ESX) team and has been with Fortra for over 2.5 years. In this role, she partners closely with clients to deliver deep-dive analysis across incidents, logs, and vulnerabilities, helping them maximize the value of their MDR/XDR solutions. She provides actionable recommendations to strengthen security posture and improve operational resilience.

Before entering the cybersecurity field, Lynn worked as a mental health therapist. The intersection of human behavior and technology has always been a driving interest for her. Understanding how people think, act, and respond allows both adversaries and defenders to influence outcomes—for better or worse—and continues to shape her approach to security.
