Zachary Travis is a dedicated Threat Hunter II on Fortra's Suspicious Email Analysis Team, leveraging over 8 years of experience in cybersecurity. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the College of Charleston, Zachary specializes in crafting advanced detection rules to protect Cloud Email Protection (CEP) clients and analyzing emerging email threat trends. His expertise spans malware analysis, credential theft prevention, dark web investigations, and social engineering threats, including phishing and spearphishing.
Zachary began his career at PhishLabs in 2016, where he progressed through roles in SOC analysis, malware analysis, and dark web intelligence. Passionate about cybersecurity, he combines technical precision with a deep understanding of threat landscapes to protect organizations from emerging risks.
Outside of work, Zachary enjoys rebuilding classic Japanese cars and motorcycles.
