Fortra’s Heather Honn Recognized Among CRN’s 2026 Women of the Channel

Published on May 4, 2026

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, May 4, 2026 — Fortra, a leading global cybersecurity and software provider, proudly announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Heather Honn, Associate Director, Global Channel Program at Fortra, on the prestigious Women of the Channel list for 2026. This marks the fourth consecutive year Honn has been honored for her leadership and impact within the IT channel.

This annual CRN list celebrates women from vendors, distributors, solution providers, and other channel-focused organizations who make a positive difference in the IT ecosystem. The CRN 2026 Women of the Channel honorees are innovative and strategic leaders committed to advancing channel excellence and supporting the success of their partners and customers.

In her role, Honn leads the development, optimization, and execution of Fortra’s global channel strategy and partner programs. Over the past year, she played a central role in the design and global launch of Fortra Protect, the company’s unified partner program, delivering a simplified structure with guaranteed margins, streamlined incentives, and a stronger channel-first operating model. Honn also advanced partner enablement and co-selling alignment, helping ensure partners are equipped to deliver measurable customer outcomes while accelerating adoption of Fortra’s cybersecurity portfolio.

As Fortra continues to grow its strategic relationships with resellers, distributors, and cloud marketplaces, Heather’s ongoing mission is to empower and incentivize indirect resellers to take full advantage of Fortra’s partnerships. Prior to her current position, she served as a Channel Manager in emerging markets for Fortra’s Network Monitoring solution.

“It’s a privilege to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these women who are driving meaningful change across the IT channel,” said Jennifer Follett, VP of U.S. Content and Executive Editor, CRN at The Channel Company. “Each honoree has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to bold, innovative strategies that fuel transformation, growth, and success for their organizations and the broader channel. We’re proud to recognize their impact and look forward to seeing how they continue to shape the future of our industry.”

“Heather’s continued recognition by CRN reflects the meaningful impact she has on our global channel strategy,” said Faraz Siraj, Vice President, Global Channels & Alliances at Fortra. “Her leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our global partner ecosystem and advancing a more scalable, partner-centric go-to-market strategy. Her impact is felt across our channel community, and we are proud to see her contributions recognized.”
