MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, May 12, 2025 — Fortra, a leading global cybersecurity and software provider, proudly announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Heather Honn, Associate Director, Global Channel Program at Fortra on the prestigious Women of the Channel list for 2025. This annual CRN list celebrates women from vendors, distributors, solution providers and other channel-focused organizations who make a positive difference in the IT ecosystem. The CRN 2025 Women of the Channel honorees are innovative and strategic leaders committed to advancing channel excellence and supporting the success of their partners and customers.
Heather has played a key role in enhancing Fortra’s partner training programs as Fortra shifted its go-to-market strategy from selling products to delivering solutions. As Associate Director of Fortra’s Global Channel Program, Heather collaborates with partners to identify opportunities for expanding the reach and adoption of the Fortra portfolio, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and partner profitability.
As Fortra continues to grow its strategic relationships with resellers, distributors, and cloud marketplaces, Heather’s ongoing mission is to empower and incentivize indirect resellers to take full advantage of Fortra’s partnerships. Prior to her current position, she served as a Channel Manager in emerging markets for Fortra’s Network Monitoring solution.
“It’s an honor to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of these women, who are leaders and change-makers in the IT channel,” said Jennifer Follett, VP, U.S. Content and Executive Editor, CRN at The Channel Company. “Each woman spotlighted on this list has shown exceptional dedication to building creative strategies that propel transformation, growth, and success for their organizations and the entire IT channel. We are pleased to spotlight their important contributions and look forward to their future success.”
“We are honored to have one of our own Fortra family recognized,” said Faraz Siraj, VP, Channel. “Heather’s consistent dedication to enhancing the value we provide to our channel partners is inspiring, as is her ongoing drive to expand the reach of Fortra’s solutions through our strategic alliances. We applaud her excellent achievement through contributions to our business.”
The 2025 Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine, with online coverage beginning May 12 at www.CRN.com/WOTC.
