MINNEAPOLIS (April 21, 2020)—Fortra announced today that it has achieved the Amazon Linux 2 Ready designation, part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program. This designation recognizes that Fortra Powertech Antivirus has been validated to run on and support Amazon Linux 2.
Achieving the Amazon Linux 2 Ready designation differentiates Fortra as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member by offering the Powertech Antivirus product, which runs on Amazon Linux 2 and is fully supported for AWS customers. Powertech Antivirus offers customers the protection of a commercial-grade scan engine, while supporting the specific features of each operating system. By protecting servers running Linux, AIX, and IBM i from a comprehensive set of viruses, worms, and malware threats, this powerful solution helps safeguard an organization’s infrastructure, not just its workstations.
